It’s been too long. And I know you all are not waiting and waiting, wondering, where’s that Ditch Your Smartphone email I subscribed to… ???
But I have some updates.
And before I tell you I’m just going to make a confession.
I pulled out my old iPhone 6 cracked screen and fired it up again. So I could text people. That’s really the only reason.
I realized that when it comes to technology, it’s hard to know where to draw the line. This is the 4th time I’ve gone back and forth and I said I was never going back.
But … it’s complicated.
For me, I just realized that, during this stage in my life, where I want to share a lot more of my art with people, there’s really no way around using some of this technology.
But even though I have my phone again, I probably only check it 10 times a day.
Getting off it for a year has taken away a lot of the power it would normally have over me and I still recommend people do this. Ditch it! See how beautiful you feel.
Here are some quick changes I’m making:
I still would love to keep in touch with you with updates about my book, poetry, music, and other writing.
So I changed the newsletter to just be me. My name.
I’m deep into Draft 3 of my novel and when I have more details about it, I’ll share it here.
Thanks so much for the support!
I’m not going away, just changing.
